The Bengals had a news conference this morning to introduce Mike Zimmer as DC, but the most telling answer was HC Marvin Lewis' take on Johnson's radio-broadcast trade demand. "There will be no trade of Chad Johnson," Lewis said.

This after Johnson, appearing on ESPN Radio, suggested last week that if he was a cancer, the Bengals need to remove him. Johnson also lamented what he viewed as a lack of organizational support when he was criticized. "He felt he was unduly chastised, ridiculed, we defended him then," Lewis said when asked about Johnson's complaints. "He is a professional football player. He is a Cincinnati Bengal for quite a while. ..." Sounds good for now. But again, we'll suggest you haven't heard the last of 85 this offseason.
