The Facts:
John Harbaugh became the second candidate to earn a second interview with the Ravens about their head coaching vacancy. The Eagles secondary coach arrived at the team's headquarters in Owings Mills at about 9 a.m. today -- just one day after Cowboys OC Jason Garrett turned down the Ravens' offer to become the third head coach in franchise history.
Reported by the Baltimore Sun
Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Harbaugh first interviewed with the Ravens on Jan. 8, and his acumen and energy impressed the team's search committee (including owner Steve Bisciotti and GM Ozzie Newsome). Harbaugh, the Eagles' special teams coordinator for nine years before coaching the defensive backs this past season, was so impressive that a few NFL sources had previously told the Sun that he was the Ravens' next option if Garrett, the team's front-runner, did not accept the head coaching job. ... Marty Schottenheimer is also on the team's radar, but hasn't been interviewed at this point.
