Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gates did not go through a pre-game workout before yesterday's game in order to give his toe some extra rest. He thought after playing the previous week he knew what to expect. But he came off the field after the game's first series thinking he was done for the day. Gates got treated then and again at halftime. He finished with two catches for 17 yards. "It's a different game if I'm healthy," Gates said. "My physical ability wasn't allowing me to do things I'm normally capable of doing. ..." We'll report further on Gates as developments warrant.
