The Redskins reportedly want to speak with Spagnuolo about their head coaching post as well.

According to the Daily News, the Falcons are interested enough in Spagnuolo that they have put their search on hold until they can speak with him. Teams are allowed to speak with Super Bowl-bound assistants this week, but only as a second interview. The Falcons tried to get a first interview with Spagnuolo after the Giants beat the Buccaneers in the wild-card round, but the Giants denied permission to Atlanta to avoid any distractions.
