Reche Caldwell On Road To Recovery
(5/8 12:12 PT)

The Facts:
The Chargers' first mini-camp, which opened on Friday, marked the return of Caldwell, just six and a half months after surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament. "I feel good just to be out there running around with my teammates," said Caldwell. "I know it's been a long time since I've been out there. I could go out there and play right now. I feel good out there, real good. I probably could get my leg a little stronger, but if I had to play I could go out there and do it." Reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Keenan McCardell isn't getting any younger; Eric Parker has talent, but isn't considered a No. 1 material; Kasim Osgood and incoming rookie Vincent Jackson lack polish; and Tim Dwight is with the Patriots. ... If Caldwell can return, it would help a receiving unit which is still on the thin side.
