Jim Colletto, the Lions' new OC, has his opinion on where the offense needs help. It starts at running back. "Our first need, and we put it on the board, would be a running back," Colletto said in an injury of Detroit radio station WJR-AM Monday evening.

Kevin Jones is recovering from surgery for the second straight year. "We're going to look around," Colletto said. "I don't know how well Kevin Jones is going to respond to the injuries. We've got to find somebody who's going to be consistent. In this league, you've got to find somebody who can make yards sometimes when there aren't holes. ..." After saying it "starts at running back" -- and adding TE and OT to his wish list, Colletto was quick to admit the team's defense will get first priority for upgrading in the offseason. That could force the Lions to seriously consider keeping T.J. Duckett on board.
