The Facts:
Rivers underwent surgery to repair a torn right ACL, the team announced Wednesday. Rivers' rehab is expected to last four to six months, putting him on track to return in time for training camp.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Chargers initially reported that Rivers suffered a partially torn MCL in their divisional playoff win over the Colts on January 13. The injury, however, turned out to be more serious. Rivers also revealed that he underwent an arthroscopic procedure the day after the Indy game to clean out some loose cartilage in the knee. ... Again, we'll suggest the four to six month timetable outlined above seems a bit optimistic; it certainly took longer for other QBs -- most recently Carson Palmer and Donovan McNabb -- to return to work. It took them even longer to regain their pre-surgery form.
