The Facts:
When pressed on whether the Saints are firm in their decision to keep McAllister around come roster bonus time, which typically occurs near the free agency period, GM Mickey Loomis wasn't prepared to unequivocally commit to McAllister. "We've got till March to make those kinds of decisions and to look at it," Loomis said. "We'll spend some time looking at it, evaluating what's best for our team and for Deuce. We haven't made any decisions."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McAllister, 29, is scheduled to make $3.6 million in base salary next year and at least $1 million more in roster bonuses in the coming months. Loomis did, though, sing the praises of McAllister's efforts to rehab the surgically repaired ACL in his left knee. McAllister has been adamant throughout the rehab process that he'll return to the field full strength. ... At this point we expect that to be as a Saint, but the situation bears watching.
