Zorn Accepts Offer To Become Redskins OC
(1/25 3:10 PT)

The Facts:
Jim Zorn has accepted an offer to become offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins, sources told ESPN.com's Mike Sando. Zorn, 54, has coached quarterbacks for the Seattle Seahawks since 2001. He was previously quarterbacks coach for Detroit from 1998 to 2000. Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Zorn's hiring comes as the Redskins continue their search for a head coach and his arrival has to be viewed as an indication the team will go outside their current staff to to make that hire. Meaning, whatever chance current defensive coordinator Gregg Williams had of being named to the top spot just diminished greatly. It's also safe to say current offensive coordinator Al Saunders will be moving on.
