The Facts:
The Washington Redskins have named veteran defensive coach Greg Blache to lead the team's defense and Jim Zorn as his counterpart on the offense. The team also released their predecessors, Gregg Williams and Al Saunders. "I want to thank Gregg and Al for all they did for the team," team owner Daniel M. Snyder said. "In particular, during our most difficult time last year, they both helped hold the team together as we kept moving forward. I am confident they will continue to be successful in the years ahead."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
But they won't be successful in Washington. ... As noted in a previous update, Saunders is reportedly of interest to the Rams, who are looking for an offensive coordinator. Williams might be of interest to the Jaguars, who are looking for an defensive coordinator. ... Now, Snyder will have to find a head coach capable of winning over a locker room with a number of players hoping Williams would get the job. Jim Fassel and Colts DC Ron Meeks are among those said to still be in the mix. But the consensus among observers says the Skins will be looking to interview Giants DC Steve Spagnuolo after next Sunday's Super Bowl.
