The Facts:
Duckett, who averaged 5.2 yards per carry for the Lions in a backup role last year, is an unrestricted free agent who's still waiting for the team to offer him a contract for the 2008 season. "I don't know what's happening," said Duckett, who hasn't heard from the Lions since the team concluded a 7-9 campaign in late December. "I'm excited about the possibility (of coming back) because I think the team has a lot of potential. I just want to be a part of that."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Duckett's first choice is to remain with the Lions. He ran 65 times for 335 yards and scored four touchdowns last year after signing a one-year deal worth $1.6 million with Detroit last offseason. "I'd love to be able to get something done soon. Otherwise, it's wait until March (when the free-agent signing period begins) and see what else is out there," he said.
