Giants co-owner Steve Tisch said Saturday coach Tom Coughlin's contract extension will come "at the appropriate time, probably over the next three weeks, maybe into the latter part of February. "No one is focused on it because there is no pressure for us to focus on it right now. If things go well next week, we are going to really enjoy the wonderful benefits and gifts of victory."

He said Saturday one reason for his confidence has been Coughlin's handling of the team this season.
