Dolphins To Interview Jackson For OC Spot
(1/28 5:24 PT)

The Facts:
The Dolphins' latest candidate to be offensive coordinator is Hue Jackson, who held that position with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007. Jackson is expected to be in South Florida tonight to interview with the Dolphins. Reported by the Palm Beach Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The other candidate known to have interviewed to be Miami's OC is Dan Henning, who most recently served in that capacity for Carolina. Jackson was an OC in 2003 with the Redskins. He called plays for coach Steve Spurrier. Jackson also has been a WRs coach for the Bengals, where he helped develop Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. We would recommend against buying into rumors that Miami's interest in Jackson could lead to the acquisition of Johnson. We find it hard to believe Bill Parcells is hiring a coordinator in order to facilitate a deal for a player -- especially a player like Johnson (Bengals HC Marvin Lewis has said Johnson won't be traded).
