A Contrite Anquan Boldin Back In The Fold
(5/10 2:33 PT)

The Facts:
After skipping a mandatory three-day mini-camp last week, Boldin flew in from Florida on Monday evening to participate for the first time in the team's voluntary off-season conditioning program this morning. The third-year took part in conditioning drills and worked afterward with quarterbacks Josh McCown and John Navarre in a brief throwing session. Boldin admitted that missing the camp was harder than he expected it to be. "Just not being around my teammates, knowing the opportunities we have this year, it was pretty tough," he said. Reported by ArizonaCardinals.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Boldin, represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus, opted to forgo the mini-camp as well as a week of organized team workouts while trying to re-work his contract. Asked if he would be at training camp if a deal still had not been reached, Boldin said, "That's the plan. I'm here. If I was going to do that, I wouldn't be here right now." Those who follow the team closely believe that head coach Dennis Green's hard-line stance on his absence was a factor in Boldin's return.
