Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McCarthy reiterated today that he intends to touch base with the veteran signal caller every 7-10 days until a decision is reached. Favre, 38, had one of his best seasons in several years in 2007, leading the Packers to a 13-3 record and their first division championship since 2004. Last season, Favre agonized over whether he would return to the Packers. It is generally believed that his wife and two daughters are in favor of him playing in 2008.
