Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gates dislocated his left big toe in the wild-card game against the Tennessee Titans on Jan. 6 and played in ensuing playoff games against Indianapolis and New England despite excruciating pain. Gates told reporters early last month that he would wait to see if surgery to repair the toe was necessary; that he'll be playing next weekend suggests such a procedure won't be necessary. We'll watch for more and report back as further details are released.
