The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... According to ESPN insider Chris Mortensen, Johnson's unhappiness in Cincinnati is tied directly to his displeasure with HC Marvin Lewis, who Johnson believes quit speaking with him early next season. Mortensen, citing an unnamed source close to Johnson, suggested the star wideout might be willing to sit out the 2008 season in an effort to force a trade.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you missed it, Johnson spent considerable time and energy in Phoenix this week -- and previously -- making it clear he's no longer interested in playing for the Bengals (see

HERE). While those who follow the team closely believe Johnson's grandstanding will do nothing but harden owner Mike Brown's resolve to make Johnson as miserable as possible (by keeping him on the roster no matter what), it would appear Johnson is willing to take his chances to force the club's hand. How desperate is he? Talking to Raiders LB Kirk Morrison (working as a correspondent for Jim Rome's ESPN show), Johnson even lobbied for a move to Oakland.
