Chatman has agreed to terms on a two-year contract to return to the Bengals.

According to Enquirer staffer Mark Curnutte, agent Mark Mersel said the Bengals, particularly HC Marvin Lewis and WRs coach Mike Sheppard, have been very supportive of Chatman and are encouraged by his renewed health. Groin and hamstring injuries limited Chatman to 16 games and one start in the past two seasons. He has 22 receptions, 19 in 2007, with the Bengals. He also returned 18 punts last season for a 5.2-yard average.
