The Facts:
The Saints re-signed Copper to a two-year, $2.75 million deal earlier this week, according to his agent Ronald Del Duca. "He could have gone into the (free agent) market, but he really likes it there," Del Duca said. "He likes the team, the people there, Coach Payton and (receivers coach Curtis Johnson)."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Copper has been a valued role player for the last two seasons, both as a backup receiver and special teams standout. He has 38 receptions for 511 yards and five touchdowns in two years with New Orleans. ... With Copper locked up the team can turn its attention to David Patten and Devery Henderson, both of whom become eligible for free agency next Friday. Assuming all three wideouts remain in New Orleans, they will battle second-year man to be Robert Meachem -- a nonfactor as a rookie -- in training camp this summer.
