Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt met with Crumpler and his agent, James Williams here at the NFL Combine before Crumpler and Williams were scheduled to fly home Friday evening.

Crumpler and the Titans have expressed mutual interest in each other, though a number of teams have inquired about the veteran tight end since his release by Atlanta. The Titans are looking to add to a thinning tight end ranks as free agent Ben Troupe will not be back and Ben Hartsock is a free agent whom Tennessee might retain. Meanwhile, SI.com's Bucky Brooks reports the Panthers, among the first teams to express interest in Crumpler, are no longer in the chase. If true, that leaves Tennesse, Green Bay, Buffalo, Detroit, Seattle and Tampa Bay on the list of potential employers.
