There is no doubt in the mind of new HC Jim Zorn about how his depth chart at QB is stacked. Campbell's the starter and Todd Collins the backup. "Jason Campbell's going to be the No. 1 QB," Zorn said Friday afternoon at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Zorn didn't leave himself any wiggle room. "I'm going to speak with Todd and make sure he knows he's important to this club," the new coach explained. "But he's not going to get that chance. That's because Jason Campbell's our starting QB and I'll tell you why. Jason Campbell must know that he is the starter. I don't want to go into this mini-camp, I don't want to go into training camp with him not knowing or have this thing up for grabs. He's our starter." Any questions? We didn't think so. ... Collins, 36, is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent next week, but the Redskins have said several times they plan to re-sign him. It remains to be seen if he'll want to stick around.
