The Vikings agreed to terms with the veteran place-kicker on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed. The move comes two years after the Chicago Bears matched a five-year, $7 million offer sheet that the Vikings made to Edinger.

Edinger ranked third in Bears history with 110 field goals. He led the NFL with 53 field goals of 40 or more yards during his five-year career. However, Edinger came up short last season, scoring a career-low 67 points while making only 15 of 24 field goals. He will compete with Aaron Elling in training camp.
