The Facts:
In what his tax attorney described as a "bureaucratic snafu," Giants receiver Plaxico Burress was issued an arrest warrant because of unpaid taxes and suffered a day's worth of bad publicity until yesterday, when the matter was rectified and Burress was cleared. As a non-resident, he was required to pay local taxes to the city of Pittsburgh because he worked there.

His attorney, Chuck Potter, added that he checked with Pittsburgh officials yesterday, and they ensured him that his client was "completely up to date and paid in full."
