The Facts:
Troupe, who underwent foot surgery last month, said he expects to wear a boot for six weeks. But he agreed with coach Jeff Fisher's timetable -- he expects to be ready for the regular season opener Sept. 11, if not much sooner. Troupe said Dr. Robert Anderson inserted a screw in his left foot to repair the fractured fifth metatarsal. "The doctor said everything went well," Troupe said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Troupe would like to return sooner. "I have to stay in the training room and hope for the best," he said. "I do see myself being back hopefully by middle if not late training camp. ..." Let's hope so. It would be nice to see him get some work in Norm Chow's new scheme before the season opens.
