The Facts:
Perry, working to return from a sports hernia that required two operations and wiped out his rookie season, estimated Saturday that he is 60-65 percent healed. "I think it humbled me a little bit. It's something I don't have control over," Perry said Saturday between mini-camp practices. "I love to play football. It was something I really wanted to do. I just had to go ahead and deal with (the injury), and that's what I'm doing now."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Head coach Marvin Lewis recently claimed that Perry is "
one of the most talented guys we have in this building." But the rest of us have seen little evidence of that talent and it remains to be seen whether we'll get a preview when training camp opens July 29. ... As much as we respect Lewis, a wait-and-see approach is recommended here.
