The Facts:
If the Titans give up a draft pick to the Bills for Henry, could they get the pick back next year? That's one of the things GM Floyd Reese could be considering as he ponders Henry's worth. The Bills want a third-round pick in the 2006 draft in exchange for Henry, but so far the Titans have only offered a fourth-round pick. There's also been some discussion of giving up a fourth that would turn into a third depending on how Henry performs.

As the Titans look ahead, they know Chris Brown becomes a restricted free agent next offseason and they have to decide whether to tender him at a level that would return a third-round pick or higher should another team sign him. Or, if Brown stays healthy for all 16 games this fall -- and has a strong season, he could be rewarded with t long-term deal. "Right now we haven't decided what we're going to do with Chris," Reese said. "That is way down the road. ..." But until Brown proves to be more durable, a little help -- in the form of Henry -- would go a long way. ... Stay tuned.
