The Facts:
Drew Rosenhaus said yesterday he has spoken to Andy Reid "this week" about the stalemated situation between the Eagles and Terrell Owens. "I called Andy and talked to him," Rosenhaus said. "I mention this because I think people have the sense that I don't have a professional dialogue with him. It's not like he and I don't have a dialogue." An Eagles spokesman said the coach was away -- far away, somewhere out West -- on vacation and couldn't be reached for comment.

Rosenhaus said he didn't want to go into what he and Reid discussed, or give any characterization of their conversation, but given the Eagles' public position against meeting Owens' demand to have his 7-year, $48 million contract revised after one season, it's hard to imagine that the dialogue lasted very long or produced very much. ...
