Popular perception is that Drew Bennett and Calico will be the starting receivers for the Titans this fall. Reality is that it may be too early to put a check mark next to Calico's name. ... Teammates, however, sound like they're convinced Calico will be back at full speed. "I think he's ready to take everybody by storm," tight end Erron Kinney said. "He is powerful, he can break tackles and he is explosive. ... I know he wants to get out there and help." Said head coach Jeff Fisher: "When Ty is 100 percent we assume he would be the No. 2 (receiver). ..."

After some difficult months early in rehab, Calico has reportedly picked up the pace lately. This week he caught passes from Billy Volek in individual drills and doesn't seem to be hurting much. The Titans hope he can regain the speed he displayed before his rookie season when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds. ... Stay tuned. We'll continue to watch this one closely.
