Demario Douglas- WR- Patriots

After missing a game due to a concussion, Demario Douglas played well for the Patriots in their win against the Bills last week. He recorded four receptions for 54 yards and had one rushing attempt for 20 yards. He almost scored the game-winning touchdown but got stopped on the one-yard line. Even with Juju Schuster possibly coming back from injury this weel, Douglas is expected to get plenty of playing time. He could be exactly what the Patriots need to get back in the winning column. Get Douglas now is Keeper and Dynasty leagues.

Taysom Hill- TE- Saints

Former quarterback Taysom Hill is starting to see more targets as a tight end, while also getting carries in the red zone. In his last two games he has 13 targets, 11 receptions and 99 yards receiving, He also has six carries for 18 yards and a score. He is worth picking up and starting unless you have one of the top five tight ends in your league. Get him today for a buck and watch him become the second half MVP for your team.

Sam Howell- QB- Commanders

Despite Commanders’ quarterback Sam Howell having a below-par performance last week against the Giants, he might be worth picking up and starting this week against the Eagles. In week 4 when Howell faced the Eagles defense, he had 290 yards throwing, one touchdown, and 40 yards rushing. The Eagle’s defense has allowed the 9th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. If your quarterback is on a bye week, Howell is a good option for a buck.

Cam Akers- RB- Vikings

Although Cam Akers hasn’t seen much work since the trade from the Rams to the Vikings early in the season, he did manage to get 10 carries for 31 yards last week against the 49ers. He also caught two balls for 30 yards. Akers has a good matchup in week 8 against the Packers, whose defense has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to running backs this year. He is still playing behind Alexander Mattison, but he may get more chances this week. Get him for a buck.

Devin Singletary- RB- Texans

Both running backs Damien Pierce and Devin Singletary has struggled this season for the Texans, but Singletary had his best game back in week 6 against the Saints. In that game, he recorded 12 carries for 58 yards. Singletary is averaging 3.9 yards per carry this season compared to 2.9 from Pierce. His workload may go up this week against the Panthers, whose defense has allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs this year. If you are desperate for a running back this week, look no further than Singletary.

Curtis Samuel- WR- Commanders

Along with Sam Howell being a sleeper pick this week for a dollar, so is his wide receiver Curtis Samuel. And despite Samuel only getting four receptions for 25 yards last week, he was targeted eight times throughout the game. Philly’s defense has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to wide receivers this year. If you need a wide out for one week, Samuel should be picked up and started.
