DRAFTKINGS DFS CASH GAME PICKS - WEEK 11

The NFL season is flying by, but it’s been a lucrative year for us at Football Diehards. This week we have four teams on bye and some #MondayNightSpecial pricing errors to look at. Catch @FantasyNav and I at a special time this week for the #DFS show, as we’ll be going on Friday (instead of Saturday) at 9 PM EST. Let’s get to the picks!

QUARTERBACK

TOP PLAY

Justin Fields, CHI ($7600)

There’s not much more to say about this guy. He’s evolved into elite status and is now the overall QB4 on the season. According to Field Yates of ESPN, Fields has 131.5 fantasy points over the past four weeks (most in the NFL). Tua Tagovailoa is second with 92.6, and Davis Mills is 54th with 53.7. This means the gap between 1 and 2 is the same as the gap between 2 and 54, which is absolutely astonishing. This is another smash spot for Fields, as he’s in a dome and facing a Falcons defense that’s bottom ten in all relevant categories. The price tag is real now, but he’s worth it if you can afford him.

Other options - Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow

Mid-tier options - Dak Prescott

VALUE PLAY

Daniel Jones, NYG ($5700)

You’re rarely going to get a ceiling game for Jones, but at $5700 (where he’s been for the last three weeks now), he makes perfect sense for cash games. Jones gets the nuts matchup this weekend against Detroit, as the Lions have allowed the most FPPG to QBs and the highest YPA. Jones also has an elite rushing floor, ranking fourth among QBs in carries and rushing yards.

Other options - Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, Marcus Mariota

RUNNING BACK

TOP PLAY

Saquon Barkley, NYG ($8900)

The Giants’ offense runs through Saquon Barkley, as evidenced by his 35-152-1 day against Houston last weekend. The Giants are second in the league in run plays per game (34.4), and Barkley leads all backs in carries, snap share, opportunity share, and rushing yards. Detroit is just as bad defensively against the run, allowing 5.0 YPC and the tenth most FPPG to the position, making Barkley well worth his top-level price tag.

Other options - Dalvin Cook, Jonathan Taylor

Mid-tier options - Alvin Kamara, Josh Jacobs, Joe Mixon, Rhamondre Stevenson

VALUE PLAY

Tony Pollard, DAL ($6500)

Coachspeak got me last week, as I stupidly faded Pollard in a spot where I absolutely should not have. That won’t happen again this week if Ezekiel Elliott sits, as Pollard’s price tag has not moved. Minnesota has allowed the fifth fewest FPPG to RBs, but also has given up 4.8 YPC and Pollard has 40 touches over the last two weeks while averaging 7.3 YPC.

Other options - Dameon Pierce, David Montgomery, D’Onta Foreman, Brian Robinson

WIDE RECEIVER

TOP PLAY

Justin Jefferson, MIN ($9100)

With Cooper Kupp on the shelf, Jefferson takes over as the unquestioned WR1 overall. The rankings will always say Dallas is a tough pass defense due to their sacks and turnovers, but they still give up massive fantasy points to WRs (tenth most allowed this year). Jefferson is matchup-proof and has 29 targets over the last two games. Jefferson leads the NFL in both snap share and routes run, and is second in targets with 100.

Other options - Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs

Mid-tier options - CeeDee Lamb, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tee Higgins

VALUE PLAY

Terry McLaurin, WAS ($5900)

Terry McLaurin’s price did not move off his $5900 price tag despite putting up an 8-128-0 line on the Eagles last night on a 37.9% target share. Since Taylor Heinecke has taken over as the Commanders’ QB, McLaurin has received no less than eight targets in a game. Theoretically, this should be a bad matchup (HOU allows the third fewest FPPG to WRs), but so was last night’s game against Darius Slay. McLaurin is a WR2 with a WR3 price tag.

Other options - Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell, Courtland Sutton, Allen Robinson, Darius Slayton, WanDale Robinson, Garrett Wilson, Kendall Hinton

TIGHT END

TOP PLAY

NONE

If Mark Andrews plays, he’s an excellent GPP play. TJ Hockenson works in MIN/DAL stacks with 19 targets in two games with Minnesota.

VALUE PLAY

Cole Kmet, CHI ($4100)

Justin Fields’ sudden surge into fantasy stardom has benefitted Kmet the most, as he has five TDs over his last three games. Kmet’s price has risen over $1000 over the last two weeks, but he’s still too cheap at $4100 for his new role. Atlanta is a soft matchup too, allowing the seventh most FPPG to TEs.

Other options - Pat Friermuth, Dalton Schultz, Tyler Higbee, Isaiah Likely (top value if Andrews sits), Jack Stoll
