The Cardinals and Ertz are mutually parting ways, with Arizona deciding to move forward with Trey McBride while giving Ertz the opportunity to finish out the season somewhere else, per sources. Ertz will go on waivers. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Ertz has been on injured reserve with a quad injury since October 24. He had 27 catches for 187 yards and a touchdown before being sidelined. He hopes to sign with a contender and make a run at his second Super Bowl ring. Of course, he'll have to get through waivers, where a non-contender could disrupt his plans, first.

Following up on this week's Team Notes. ... With Kyler Murray slated to return at quarterback on Sunday, the team also designated Conner to return and opened his 21-day practice window on Wednesday. Conner is on Injured Reserve with a knee issue. Reported by ArizonaCardinals.com

HC Jonathan Gannon announceed that Murray will start for the Cardinals Sunday against the Falcons, if all goes well in practice this week.  Reported by FootballDiehards.com
